Their civilization was created spontaneously. At the beginning they were just simple
outlaws who were running away from death penalties, or they had decided to leave their inhabitation in search for a better life. They were ruthless, heartless and the biggest savages from all species. They were The Nameless ones, for all their closest members abandoned them and considered them dead and forgotten. So a lot
of them acted without any sense for guilt and their only law was to get hold of
the best merchandise or to get well paid as contract killers. Although nobody wanted to have any business with them they were all hiring them to do their filthy jobs.
This way nobody could blame them except those that actually killed someone or robbed them. And pirates had no soul, for their soul was thrown overboard the day they became fugitives. They never stayed in one system more than it was needed because they all felt like a prey that has to hide its trace. So they were always in motion and searching for good business deals. Sometimes the Pirates would kill those that ordered them to get something done and instead of paying them, they were left empty-handed
and were hunted for somebody else’s sin. So in many cases the Pirates killed all those deceivers and would never go in business with that species again, no matter how high the price. They were well paid by the Makkinists who fought battles inside their civilization for domination over planet Terrib. Two of their doctors, Zanthan Ka and Curox Ka, decided to eliminate Bar Ka and his associates for they were spreading teaching about mechanical existence. The Pirates never interfered in somebody’s government so they agreed to execute any paid order. A group of them were the experts in engineering and they knew how to perform the collapse of many ships entire system
without being noticed. One time they were requested to disable the navigation system and to insert the command for a cargo ship to crash on planet Maddog. To distract the attention of Bar Ka, a fleet of battleships followed them until the program activated and crashed the ship into the planet. For the successful performance,
the Pirates received valuable minerals and additional equipment for their battle ships. Zilliax Ka hired them every now and then to eliminate the leaders of the
Ords that were constantly invading their system Cross. The Ords never knew how they managed to sneak up and killed their leader without being caught or seen.
As they were travelling through many systems, their society grew bigger each day and many former enemies became their new friends and relatives. As they became the most ferocious civilization, many of the species prayed never to see their ships. The Pirates continued to act as mercenaries so in one occasion they were summoned by the human organization called the United Union Force. Their demand was for the
Pirates to infiltrate in the lines of the Earth Military Directorate who were their biggest enemy. As the UF lost all contacts, the Pirates had more than a few tasks: the first one was to get hold on information about any plans of attacks and strategically important locations near the system Goe; secondly, the mercenaries got an assignment to remove all commanding officers that were in charge of those operations. This brought anxiety and rage in the EMD but also approval from some who were secretly working for the UF. With supporters undercover and mercenaries, the UF knew every next step the EMD was trying to do and they were always prepared to defend their colonies. As a group of Pirates murdered those commanding officers and didn’t bring them alive to New Terra, the UF members refused to pay them for doing something against their principles. Those Pirates revenged them by slaughtering several squadrons
and destroying the central station of system Goe. The massive damage incited the
undercover Pirates to quit their mission and return safely to their main battle ship and so the UF lost contact with Earth for a few years until some of the EMDs
officers became their spies.
After that, the Pirates were involved in small robberies from cargo
ships that were transferring a variety of resources or valuable items, these items
were sold on the black market. Traders of rare items told them about a situation in system Quintessence that was under the power of the Alreani States and that one of three coalitions the Esz-Nun offered a great reward for those who would eliminate
the leaders of the coalitions, Rian-Ira and Ans-Atti-Ly. After the eliminations,
members of the coalitions just chose others to continue with their work, so the
coalition Esz-Nun hired pirates to distract them constantly. After they had weakened those coalitions, the leaders of the Esz-Nun demanded from the Pirates to finish them entirely but the Pirates raised their price and asked for more treasures. When the Esz-Nuns’ leaders didn’t agree to that, the Pirates decided to murder them and to run in haste. The Leaders knew they wouldn’t leave their area silently so they ordered troops to kill them so that no one would know that they were responsible for all assassinations. The Pirates successfully escaped and entered the system Fatigue where the Draglons were inhabited. As the Draglons didn’t have enough resources in their own system, they offered the pirates a deal: that they started to plunder every possible cargo ships that was transferring valuable merchandise and in return they would share it with them. So the pirates respected that deal for a while but they soon started to take more and more for themselves. They traded for information about schedules and routes of cargo ships and soon,
they were the biggest threat for all traders and those that ordered and paid for resources. They were holding entire systems under their control so it was a big risk to send cargo ship through areas of their lurking. Many managed to escape from their traps but mostly, lots of resources and items ended up in the hands of the
Pirates. But in spite of that, they still worked as mercenaries because they will never refuse another possibility to get hold of new wealth. Because of them, other races are constantly cautious and ready to defend what is rightfully their property.
